Comprehensive College Planning & Application Package
Guiding students through the college search and application process.
College Search and Selection
- Student-centered approach focused on empowering the student to increase confidence and ownership of the college application process.
- Review and recommendation of college options based on the students’ transcripts, standardized test results, extracurricular activities, goals, interests, and financial needs
- Teach student how to students to research and evaluate options, developing a balanced college application list
College Application and Key Date Management
- Detail application requirements and due dates utilizing the Custom College Plan online tool
- Help students set up their Common App account and other application portals, as needed (UC App, Coalition App, etc.)
- Assist with application review prior to submission
- Provide resources on scholarship & financial aid options
- Support students, as needed, through deferral, wait-list and final decision
Personal Statement, Supplemental Essay and Activities List
- Brainstorm topics and themes for the personal statement and supplemental college application essays.
- Identify activity involvement and present in a thoughtful and clear format via Activities List and Resume
Letter of Recommendation, School Visit and Interview Coaching
- Guide students on requesting letters of recommendation
- Work with families to develop college tour options and provide resources on how to get the most out of the college visits
- Prepare students for admission interviews, including mock interview questions and interview etiquette
Premium College Planning Package
For Freshmen and Sophomores looking to maximize their high school planning, all features of the Comprehensive Package are included, and additional guidance on curriculum planning, major & career assessments, and summer activity & extracurricular involvement.
Senior Year Hourly Package
Hourly consulting is available to aid the student who needs guidance or resources in completing their college applications.
